Rita was brought up in a family of fishermen. She slowly developed a knack for the industry and soon, it developed into her life-passion. This was evident from the fact that as early as 1977, the locals of Marsaxlokk used to gather around her shop to buy the freshest fish available, in one of the most prominent and competitive fishing villages on the Maltese Islands.
Rita Fish Shop are importers and distributors of fresh and frozen fish. You will find all kinds of seafood and quality fish directly from the fishermen. Rita, the shop owner’s long-standing experience in the fish industry ensures the products are genuine and fresh.
Rita does not compete at an industrial level. She instead offers her customers fresh fish and guarantees that the products bought from her are the best on the island. Rita Fish Shop offers it’s clients a great selection of both frozen and fresh fish, brought in by local fishermen and sold directly from their shops, one of which in the fishing village of Marsaxlokk. This ensures that customers are always content with the year-round supply of the freshest fish available. The brand has an honest feel to it, thanks to the genuine nature of the owner, Rita.

Rita’s fish shop of Marsaxlokk, recently embarked on a new branding exercise that consolidates the shop owner’s long-standing experience in the fish industry and commitment to genuine and fresh products. The new brand images appear on the shop staff uniforms, aprons, paper packaging and product jar labels.
