About Kid’s Haven Childcare Centre in San Gwann, Malta
At Kid’s Haven, which is in possession of a Provisional Registration, we offer an environment and service based entirely on the standards set out by the Department of Social Welfare. Our aim is to offer good, high quality child care, but most importantly, to provide the children at such a delicate age, with an enjoyable holistic learning experience which focuses on the different areas of development.
These are some important elements at our centre:
Carers fully qualified in Child Care and also in First Aid and Paediatric First Aid. Children to carer ratio is in line with regulations issued by the Department of Social Welfare Standards.
Very well equipped, clean and spacious premises which comply with latest regulations and provide a calm, healthy and safe environment, which is monitored once every two years by a Health and Safety Auditor as per regulations. Premises include a separate area for babies, a messy area, a free play area, which includes home corner, quiet corner for reading or puzzles and an outside play area.
A variety of stimulating and educational equipment and toys for the children in inside and outside play areas to help tem enhance their holistic development.
A wide range of activities such as painting, dressing up, singing, sand and water play, play dough, cooking, storytelling and more, planned to help children to learn through play.
We take care of children all year round from the ages of 0 to 3 years. They are split according to their age group. Children up to 5 years of age are also accepted during school holidays and after school hours as well.
A newsletter is issued every four months and also an Open Day for parents is held twice a year.
