Tucked away in a quiet alley just off the most sought after retail space in Bizazza street Sliema, it is refreshing to find Ta’ Kris’ bistro humbly nestled in a side-street serving typical Maltese dishes in a homely fashion and rustic surroundings. Ta’ Kris offers mouth watering dishes at very reasonable and affordable prices. Formerly a bakery, the oven has been left in it’s place where it was fulfilling it’s duties during bakery-times, now producing the homely atmosphere everybody likes.

Ta’ Kris specializes in Maltese and Mediterranean dishes, they offer a good selection of fresh fish on a daily basis and popular Maltese dishes like rabbit, bragioli, beef stew, baked pork with fennel seeds, also from pasta dishes to Fresh Black Angus Beef to fresh salads. While its many regulars love it for its commitment to tradition, Ta’ Kris also offers specials that change every couple of days. The daily specials will be explained at your table. They also offer Set Menus for special occasions, and also take away service.

Marinated Salmon Carpaccio with Orange and Beetroot. This dish is great for a hot summer day, as it is refreshing and delicious.

Veal Involtini is stuffed with cheese, parma ham, vegetables and apple. served with rosemary and martini sauce.
