Facilities such as sun beds and umbrellas are available for rent as well as plenty of snack bars a and small cafeterias. The beach also offers various water fun activities such as pedal boat rentals, parasailing or large floating play areas.

Ghadira Nature Reserve

The Nature Reserve has been declared a bird sanctuary since 1978. It has types of habitat that are very rare in Malta, the wetland and the salt marsh. An ideal place for bird watching and look out for various species of birds.

The Red Tower

The tower is also known as St. Agatha’s Tower, its location guards the bays of Mellieha and Ghajn Tuffieha. The Red Tower was a signalling post for communication with Gozo, the sister island. It had a cannon, housing 30 men and had enough food to withstand a war for 40 days.
