Emphasis at this family-run operation is on the food, rather than the decor. Marsascala is still very much a fishing village and the menu largely depends on the best and the freshest from the local catch.
Phyllis and her daughter Dorianne provide a friendly welcome and look after diners front of house, while husband Joseph and son Anthony toil in the kitchen.
Between them they have created a well-run convival, informal and popular restaurant that regulars love, so it is often packed to the door – booking is therefore essential. It isn’t called La Favorita for nothing.
